Many things can be said about the “el Camino”, or the Camino Francés, French Way/Route, which is an old pilgrim route.
Its stretches from Saint Jean Pied de Port (SJPDP) in France, to Santiago de Compostela. Its almost 800 km long.
Throughout centuries pilgrims have undertaken this itinerary, making permanent landmarks in history as well as in the landscape of northern Spain.
Im not going into details here; there is so many more and better resources for the el Camino. This is just a overview and an introduction. More to come.
